Your Mercedes is state-of-the-art. That’s true all the way down to the Flexible Service System (FSS) that tracks vehicle mileage and notifies you when service is due. In the past, owners had to manually track miles or time to ensure they had oil changes, tire rotations, and other important services done on time.
Today, the FSS will notify you of when you need Mercedes Benz services in Fort Lauderdale. While the FSS can notify you of many different services, the three most common are Mercedes Benz services A, B, and C. What’s included in these services and when do they occur?
Mercedes Service A is recommended every 10,000 miles or one year. It’s an important service that includes a full synthetic oil and filter change, as well as checking and topping off all your fluids. Your tire pressure and condition will be checked (and a rotation will likely be recommended), and your brake system is checked, too. The technician will also reset your maintenance light.
Service B is scheduled roughly every 20,000 miles or two years. It’s a bit more in-depth than Service A, but it does include some of the same elements. For instance, you’ll still have a full synthetic oil and filter change, as well as having all of your fluids checked and topped off.
Some of the different elements here include changing your cabin filter and providing a brake fluid service. Your tires will be checked (tread and pressure) and will likely need to be rotated, as well. You’ll have a full brake system inspection, too. Note that your specific make and model may require additional services at this time. The team at Euromotive will explain everything that needs to be done.
When it comes to Mercedes Benz services, C is one of the less frequently required. It’s only scheduled every 36,000 miles and it includes only a few specific things. For instance, you’ll have all of your fluids checked, an oil and filter change, your wiper blades replaced, and we’ll scan your car’s computer for any fault codes that might indicate problems. If we find any, we’ll notify you of what they are and what needs to be done before we undertake any repairs or replacements.
As you can see, each of the Mercedes Benz services includes several common elements, but also interval-specific ones. Each service interval is designed to ensure that your car stays in the best shape possible and avoid potential issues, which is why it is very important to work with a service team that understands Mercedes’ factory service schedule.
